Sell your AI rules on RuleSell

The marketplace for AI development assets — Cursor rules, Claude Code skills, MCP servers, agent configs, and more. Real GitHub attribution, quality scoring, Stripe Connect payouts after beta.

Why sell here

Real attribution

Every listing shows the GitHub author, source URL, and SPDX license. Custodian uploads transfer to you the moment you claim the listing via GitHub OAuth.

Quality scoring

Listings rank by automated signals — freshness, schema completeness, install proofs — not star ratings that get gamed. Your good work surfaces without playing tricks.

Distribution

Indexed on Google, listed in Claude/Perplexity/ChatGPT search results via structured data, and cross-promoted on tool-specific landing pages (Cursor rules, Claude Code skills, MCP servers).

Payouts

After beta, paid publishing routes revenue through Stripe Connect. Free during beta; published-author share is finalized in /legal/creator-agreement before paid publishing opens.

How payout works

During beta, everything is free to publish and download. After beta:

  1. 1. You connect a Stripe Connect account in /dashboard/payouts.
  2. 2. Set a price on any listing (or keep it free) — Stripe Connect receives the buyer's payment.
  3. 3. RuleSell takes a platform fee; the remainder is paid out monthly to your Stripe account. Exact split: pending finalization — see /legal/creator-agreement.
  4. 4. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes follow standard Stripe rules and are detailed in the creator agreement.

Note: this page describes the post-beta payout model. Final percentages, payout cadence, and tax handling are confirmed in /legal/creator-agreement before paid publishing opens — flagged here for clarity, not yet contractual.

FAQ

Is publishing on RuleSell free?

Yes — publishing is free during beta. Paid publishing with Stripe Connect payouts opens after beta. There is no listing fee.

What can I sell on RuleSell?

Cursor rules (.cursorrules / .mdc), Claude Code skills, agents, and hooks, MCP servers (stdio + SSE), Aider configs, Windsurf rules, Cline rules, Continue configs, AGENTS.md / GEMINI.md templates, prompts, CLIs, datasets, and bundles.

How do payouts work?

After beta, paid listings route revenue through Stripe Connect. You connect your Stripe account, and RuleSell pays out the creator share monthly. Exact split is finalized before paid publishing opens — see /legal/creator-agreement for the canonical terms.

Do I keep attribution if I publish here?

Yes — every listing displays the real GitHub author handle, source URL, and SPDX license. If you're the upstream author, you can claim the listing and royalties route to you.

What if my rule was scraped from my GitHub repo without my permission?

Open a claim on the listing. RuleSell verifies via GitHub OAuth that you control the repo, then transfers attribution and any earned revenue to your account. The claim flow is at /claim/<listing-slug>.

Can I publish private or paid-only rules?

Paid listings open after beta. Private (team-only) distribution is on the roadmap — for now, all listings are public.
