These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RuleSell, a marketplace for AI development assets. By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing RuleSell you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect (DSA Art. 14).
2. Eligibility and the 18+ requirement
RuleSell is open to natural persons aged 18 or older and to legal entities lawfully able to enter contracts. We do not knowingly process the personal data of children under 18. By signing up you confirm your date of birth and country of residence. Misrepresentation of age is a material breach (16 CFR 312, COPPA update effective 22 April 2026).
3. Geographic restrictions
RuleSell is unavailable to residents of comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. Additional sector-specific restrictions may apply to Belarus and the Russian Federation. We use both signup-time geo-blocking and transaction-time screening through our payment processors (US OFAC, EU Council Regulations, UK OFSI).
4. Account registration and security
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that compromise the security of the service or its users.
5. Your content and our license
You retain all rights in the rulesets, prompts, agents, datasets, and other items you publish. By publishing on RuleSell you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, distribute, display, and transmit your content for the purpose of operating the marketplace. Paid items are also covered by the separate Creator Agreement.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not publish or share content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, contains malware, harvests credentials, depicts the sexual exploitation of minors, incites violence or hatred, or otherwise breaches our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in removal, account suspension, and referral to authorities (DSA Art. 16, Acceptable Use Policy).
7. How we moderate content
We operate a notice-and-action system. Anyone may report content via the Report button on every listing, review, and profile. We confirm receipt and act without undue delay. Where we remove or demote content, the affected user receives a Statement of Reasons explaining the legal basis, the facts relied on, and the available redress (DSA Art. 16-17).
8. Third-party content disclaimer
RuleSell hosts third-party content created by our users. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the accuracy, security, legality, or fitness for purpose of any third-party item. To the extent permitted by law, we act as an intermediary service provider and rely on the conditional liability exemptions of EU and US law (DSA Art. 6-8; 47 U.S.C. § 230(c)(1)).
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time from /dashboard/settings/privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. On termination your published items are unpublished, your reviews are kept but anonymised, and pending payouts are processed in line with the Creator Agreement.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
RuleSell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred euros. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the contracting RuleSell entity is established. EU consumers retain the protections of the mandatory laws of their country of residence. Where required, disputes may be referred to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
12. Changes to these Terms
We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-product banner at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Earlier versions are kept in our changelog.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@rulesell.example. Our EU legal representative will be named here once appointed (DSA Art. 13).
