Who built RuleSell?
RuleSell was built by Velkina Studio and launched in 2026. It is the first AI asset marketplace to use automated quality scoring instead of star ratings.

RuleSell has nine asset categories: (1) Rules — AI coding rules for Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, (2) MCP Servers — Model Context Protocol integrations, (3) Skills — Claude Code prompt workflows, (4) Agents — multi-agent orchestration templates, (5) Workflows — n8n/Zapier/Make automations, (6) Prompts — reusable system prompts, (7) CLIs — command-line tools, (8) Datasets — training and evaluation data, (9) Bundles — curated packs at a discount.

Quality & Trust
How does quality scoring work on RuleSell?
Every asset is automatically evaluated on five signals: token efficiency, install success rate, schema cleanliness, freshness, and security scan. These combine into a letter grade from S (exceptional) to D (needs work). Only assets scoring B or higher appear in search results by default. Scores are recalculated weekly.
What does each quality grade mean?
S (exceptional) = top 5% of all assets. A (excellent) = top 15%. B (good) = passes all quality checks. C (acceptable) = passes basic checks with minor issues. D (needs work) = has significant quality or security concerns. Assets below B are hidden from default search results.
How does security scanning work?
Every asset upload is scanned for leaked secrets, unsafe code patterns, command injection vectors, SSRF vulnerabilities, and supply chain risks. RuleSell uses automated static analysis on every submission. This is critical because research shows 36.7% of public MCP servers have SSRF vulnerabilities.
Can reviews be faked on RuleSell?
No. Only users who installed an asset via the RuleSell CLI can leave a rating. Written reviews require Certified Dev status, which requires identity verification. This prevents review manipulation.
Pricing & Payments
Is RuleSell free to use?
Yes. Browsing, installing free assets, and listing free assets is completely free forever. Paid assets are priced by their creators. RuleSell takes a 15% commission on paid sales (10% during the launch period). An optional Pro subscription ($8/month) adds advanced features but is not required.
How much do creators earn?
Creators keep 85% of every paid sale (90% during the first six months). Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect. There are no listing fees, no featured-placement charges, and no subscription required to sell.
What does the Pro subscription include?
Pro ($8/month) adds private collections, full install history across all your environments, advanced search filters, and priority support. It is not required to buy or sell assets.

How do I install an asset from RuleSell?

Does the CLI work with all AI coding tools?
Yes. The RuleSell CLI supports Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Codex, VS Code, Zed, and more. It detects which tools are installed on your system and places files in the correct directories.

Paid listings require passing a 50-install verification gate (your asset must be successfully installed by 50 users first) and Trader KYC compliance (DSA Art 30, EU Digital Services Act). This ensures quality and legal compliance.
